Eligibility
Coverage for all full-time employees (working 30 hours or more per week) begins on the first day of the month following your date of hire.
Coverage amount
As a regular full-time employee, you receive Basic Life Insurance in the amount of one times your annual salary (maximum $200,000), Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance in the same amount, and Dependent Life Insurance in the amount of $10,000 for your spouse and $5,000 per qualifying dependent child.
Cost of benefit
Basic Life Insurance, AD&D, and Dependent Life Insurance is provided at no cost to you at this time. EDENS pays for the cost of this coverage.

Purchasing additional coverage
Employees may purchase individual life insurance policies for themselves and their dependents in varying amounts. Although employees pay the total cost of this coverage, their premiums may be deducted from their earnings on a post-tax basis. Go to the Voluntary Benefits page for details.
